Cask.directory was founded by Emmanuel Dron, a recognised figure in the international spirits industry with more than 30 years of experience.

Throughout his career, Emmanuel has built an extensive global network spanning distilleries, independent bottlers, brokers, collectors, distributors and retailers. He is the founder of the renowned Singapore whisky bar The Auld Alliance, author of Collecting Scotch Whisky, and has been involved in numerous bottling projects across whisky, rum, cognac, armagnac and calvados.

Having spent decades buying, selling and evaluating casks, Emmanuel experienced first-hand how difficult it could be to find the right casks, verify information, compare opportunities and identify trustworthy partners. Cask.directory was created to solve these challenges by bringing the fragmented cask market into a single independent platform.

Unlike traditional marketplaces, Cask.directory does not act as a broker, dealer or investment company. The platform does not buy, sell or own casks, and it does not charge commissions.
