General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS)
1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Cask.Directory platform, a directory and matchmaking service between professionals in the spirits industry.
2. Services
Cask.Directory provides professional users with access to:
- A directory of cask sellers (distilleries, brokers, independent bottlers)
- A direct contact tool to connect with sellers
- Professional market information
Cask.Directory is not a party to any sale concluded between sellers and buyers.
3. Registration
Registration is reserved for legal adults acting in a professional capacity, with valid legal registration (SIREN or equivalent).
4. Pricing and Subscription Terms
Buyer Membership: Free access after email confirmation.
Seller Membership: €299/month (excl. VAT). Monthly subscription.
Term & Cancellation: Seller subscriptions are monthly subscriptions. Cancellation may be requested at any time but will only take effect on the subscription anniversary date (one (1) month after the start date).
Unless cancelled before the anniversary date, the subscription is automatically renewed for successive one (1)-month terms, on the terms and, where applicable, at the rates in effect on the renewal date.
5. User Obligations
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Comply with the applicable laws governing cask transactions in their country
- Not use the platform for unlawful purposes
6. Liability
Cask.Directory acts only as a technical service provider. It is not liable for:
- The quality, compliance, or availability of listed casks
- Commercial disputes between sellers and buyers
7. Intellectual Property
All content and functionality on the platform is the exclusive property of Cask.Directory or its partners.
8. Personal Data
See the Privacy Policy (included in the Legal Notice).
9. Governing Law – Jurisdiction
These GTCS are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the Tribunal de Commerce de Paris (75), France, unless otherwise required by mandatory legal provisions.
